Empower Civic Participation

We believe a strong democracy starts at the local level. Through outreach, education, and engagement, we are building a more connected and empowered community.

  • Supported and uplifted six residents in successfully running for Democratic Committee positions

  • Hosted regular public monthly meetings and community events to foster engagement and participation

  • Organized a No Kings Pre-Rally Event to engage residents in civic dialogue

  • Held a Petition Signing Event connecting Green Tree residents directly with elected officials

  • Hosted a donation drive in support of Empower and Elevate PGH Women

  • Co-Sponsored Green Tree Garage Sale Day 2026

Go Green, Green Tree

We are committed to sustainability and protecting our local environment through hands-on action and policy advocacy.

  • Organized an April Trail Clean-Up Day at the Green Tree Nature Center

  • Provided Tick and Lymes Disease prevention education and resources

  • Introduced and advocated for Borough Resolution #1385 to pursue Bird Town certification.

    • Drafted and submitted a successful Bird Town application, securing Bird Town certification for Green Tree Borough.

  • Championed the passage of Resolutions #1383 and #1384, securing grant applications for conservation and environmental improvements

Welcoming Green Tree for All

We are working to ensure Green Tree is a welcoming, inclusive community where all residents feel supported and valued.

  • Helped seven residents receive Rapid Response training through Frontline Dignity

  • Co-hosted Ally Training with Casa San Jose

  • Successfully supported the implemention of A-Team, a free social services resource focused on mobile crisis intervention for municipal police and first responders

  • Advocated for sensory-specific training for Green Tree Borough Police
